This program is co-sponsored with Cornell Cooperative Extension.  The session is for youth age 10-13 and will be 2 hours in length.  Participants may bring their own drone, but it is not required. 

Unmanned aerial vehicles or drones, are increasingly being used to enhance modern industry and science. The summer drone program will cover the advantages and disadvantages of drone usage, all the current safety regulations and also teach the basics of drone flight. In the end, participants will have the opportunity to use their new skills to experience piloting a drone on a mission
