Family Hiking

Join staff from the Town of Plattsburgh for three family hikes this year! These hikes are a great way to introduce your family to nature with some new locations! Each day, we will meet at 9:45AM. Please, dress appropriately for the weather and wear sneakers or hiking boots. Bring snacks and water on all trips.
Registration begins March 20, 2023 for Town of Plattsburgh residents and March 27, 2023 for non-residents.
Family Hike 1 - Silver Lake Bog

Age: 8+ (youth must be accompanied by one adult 18+)
Cost: Free
Location: Silver Lake Bog, 5 Old Hawkeye Road, AuSable Forks
Register by May 22nd.
Family Hike 2 - Cobble Lookout

Location: Cobble Lookout, Gillespie Drive Wilmington
